FLOATING CITY PADEL PAVILION

Sanad Engineering completed the design of Floating City Padel Pavilion. Sanad Engineering aimed to produce a simple, architectonic facility which embraced visual and physical permeability, and promoted an urban dialogue, commonly neglected with large sport pavilions. With the easy flow of players, the Padel Pavillion softens the barriers between public and private space at the Floating City neighborhood in Amwaj Island. The the site was able to host four padel courts, measuring 10X20meters each in a staggered arrangement, a café, terraced seating, and locker room amenities.
